Interchangeable backgrounds for the Custom Tool

Have you ever created a nice, clean custom only to find out it's staticky in some places once you add a background?

I sure know I have. If your a stickler like me when it comes to creating static free dogs you know it's a bit offsetting to find out your otherwise beautiful pup is laced with "hidden" static.

What if we had the ability to change the background while creating a custom?

This would almost certainly eliminate the hidden static problem. It gives you a chance to spot the static, then alter your code in order to remove it. No more spending your hard earned bones on a disappointing custom ever again!

But wait, there's more! Not only do we have the ability to make perfect customs but we now have the ability to design customs for specific backgrounds. No more wondering if the dog you created for a background will live up to par against the actual thing. Now that's what I call 2 birds 1 stone!

Other notes:
• The visual quality of pups from custom parents would be better. No more staticky pups being produced by staticky parents.
• Could be implemented as a Breeders Perk or available to everyone.
•This may even prove useful when buying dogs for sale if it could somehow be added there as well. It would serve the same purpose as the custom tool. (If interested I can explain further)

I'm not sure how coding works so if this is virtually impossible to add please let me know.
Feel free to read & review. (:

The main point isn't to make glitches that don't show static against certain backgrounds. That's simply just another positive aspect of adding this in game.<br /> <br /> I was focusing it more towards the fact that the current background doesn't allow us to see the full color output of a dog. It doesn't even have to be a change that adds every background, just a simple option to switch it to a default black or white background would be nice. That way we can actually see what we're creating.<br /> <br /> I honestly don't think we should have to risk creating a custom we don't like. Some of us work hard to earn bones & when we finally decide to make a custom we want it to be one we're proud to have in our kennel. Besides, I've never thought of Alacrity as being a site that wants you to gamble with your currency.<br /> <br /> You have a great idea right there. ^-^<br /> I think removing the static problem all together will solve a lot of the problems I've mentioned. I'll support that!<br /> <br /> I greatly appreciate your post. It made me realize there is another solution that actually makes more sense. (:

I don't support. I've made glitches and found they didn't work on some backgrounds so I'd switch the background but these are 'glitches' for a reason. I think its part of the risk in creating one. <br /> <br /> I'd rather see the static error removed entirely and let us create rainbow colors and not call them 'glitches' anymore. I support that more than adding a bunch of backgrounds into the custom tool.<br /> <br /> Just an opinion =)
